We are sending this letter to thank you for your lifetime of contributions to the koi hobby and achievements as a koi judge. Your current status as Retired Judge Emeritus is a well-deserved token of our admiration and appreciation. Your encouragement to all koi judges and especially to new candidate judges has had a significant impact on all of us.
Charles, your leadership, especially through the difficult issues with the previous organization, are a tribute to your character. The American Koi Judges Association recognizes that we owe much of our success to your dedication as our founding Chairman. You have set an example that places the bar at a very high level for all AKJA judges going forward.
We look forward to seeing you and Carolyn at future koi shows and events. We especially hope you will be able to attend our future AKJA judging seminars to continue to share your knowledge and experience. Perhaps in the future you will return occasionally as a koi show judge and help us select the best. We wish you and Carolyn the very best of everything as you enjoy the much deserved benefits of retirement.
